Connected Math 2 is a new and a different math program and it is very hard to work with connected math 2. Connected math 2 was a new approach to math. A complete mathematics curriculum for grades 6-8 helps kids. There are 8 units but we have completed 6 out of the 8. Some of them are very tough. Some of them were not so much, but one of the worst ones that I had trouble with is the bits and pieces 2. It was very hard to accomplish but some way I got through it. The books that we have completed are Prime time, Bits and pieces 1, bits and pieces 2, shapes and designs, covering and surroundings, and lastly how likely is it.
Connected math 2 is a harder part of math. More geometry is involved. We set up our notebook by getting five folders labeled: class work, homework, assessment, reference, vocabulary. We have our vocabulary books and then that’s where we put all of our vocab definitions.
One of my favorite books is how Likely Is It and I had a great time with this book because I like doing probability. I have always had a great time doing probability and that’s why I picked this as my favorite book. Some activities that I did are probability, chance, and different percents.
